Personalized Medicine: Impacting Healthcare

On November 17-18, 2010, the Partners HealthCare Center for Personalized Genetic Medicine, Harvard Medical School and Harvard Business School are hosting the sixth annual personalized medicine conference in Boston, MA. The nature of healthcare is changing dramatically, and personalized medicine is now playing an important role in this change. It is a critical time to take stock and think about how the implementation of personalized medicine would result in better outcomes for patients in a cost-efficient manner.

This year's conference is dedicated to exploring the opportunities to make personalized medicine a reality, highlighting the current clinical impact of personalized medicine as it enters the healthcare delivery system and how recent experience may guide and inform the policies, plans and actions of stakeholders among government, academe and the private sector. Widely considered the premier event in the field, the conference attracts over 600 national and international thought leaders.
